Sick…AGAIN

Woke up this morning with pain in my ear that can only be described as something being jammed past my eardrum.

*le sigh*

This explains why my blood sugars have remained elevated, even after switching my infusion site (AGAIN) and putting new insulin into the pump.

Yet. Another. Ear. Infection.

That’s it. Start me on the Gammagard. NOW. I am SO DONE with this crap.

I guess I should call the immunologist. If anything, I would very much like my blood sugars to go back to normal.

I take very good pride in my control and even more so in my high 5’s – low 6’s A1c’s. I was shooting for below a 5.7 at my next endo visit…but given how sick I have been the past 3 months, I doubt that it will happen. I wonder if once I start getting antibodies pumped into me and my body is FINALLY able to KEEP me from getting sick my control might improve even more…

Woke up with a 112 FBG this morning. That’s the lowest it’s been in 2 days. Higher than I like…but at this point, I’ll take what I can get.

One more hour until I can call the immunologist. -_-
